FNUSA’s Survivor Reentry Project has grown substantially over the past two years. Our staff and pro bono partners are working harder than ever to assess, represent, and ultimately clear criminal records resulting from a trafficking experience. We are committed to supporting survivors through this process and ensuring that the attorneys we partner with are well-prepared to provide victim-centered, trauma-informed, and effective legal representation. To make good on our commitment to current participants, provide additional training and support to our pro bono partners, and update our process, we will briefly pause new intakes until the end of 2023.
This does not mean that the program is shutting down! We will continue working with existing participants and providing technical assistance to providers through the end of the year. We will reopen intakes for survivors in January 2024. If you have questions, please reach out to info@freedomnetworkusa.org.
