For the field, by the field.
The National Standards of Care will provide guidance to service providers to promote consistent quality of services and reduce harm to trafficking survivors.
As part of the Department of Justice’s Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) and the Department of Health and Human Services Office on Trafficking in Persons (OTIP)’s Standards of Care initiative, Freedom Network USA (FNUSA) received a competitive award to lead the development of National Standards of Care for Anti-Trafficking Service Providers, alongside a Technical Working Group (TWG) of diverse experts in the field. More information about this multi-phase initiative can be found on the OJP Grant Awards Page.
Current Project Highlights
Freedom Network USA (FNUSA), along with our Technical Working Group of 25 subject-matter experts, are deep into the drafting process for Standards of Care! To ensure the final draft encompasses the knowledge of our experts and is representative of the field’s needs, the standards will undergo a comprehensive review and revision process so that each standard is supported by evidence basis and promising practices in the field, as well as the consensus of our Technical Working Group.
