Freedom Network Training Institute

The Freedom Network Training Institute (FNTI) is the premier training resource for professionals in the human trafficking field. FNTI provides in-person and online training, fact sheets, tools, and templates that are based on a client-centered and trauma-informed approach. The Institute has trained thousands of professionals across the country, utilizing facilitators who are subject matter experts in the field.

An Introduction to Criminal Record Relief for Survivors and The Survivor Reentry Project

This 60-minute webinar is designed to examine the frequency of criminalization experienced by survivors during their trafficking experience, the social and systemic sources that influence the idea of an ‘ideal’ survivor that impact survivors seeking services, and break down the concepts of criminal record relief available for survivors with criminal records. It concludes with information about FNUSA’s Survivor Reentry Project, how the project works, and trends the project is seeing on a national level.

On-Demand Training

You can access on-demand training on critical and specialized topics in the anti-trafficking field. Our current training titles/topics are included below.

This 2-hour training is designed for new professionals in the anti-trafficking field or new to their role. The training is delivered by practitioners in the field who will help define human trafficking and discuss the legal and social services that are available to survivors.

This training explores the similarities and differences between sex work and human trafficking. The presenters in this training provide practical ways that service providers can serve survivors who may be engaging in sex work.

Equity Fund

Our Equity Fund supports survivor leaders and impacted communities in accessing Freedom Network Training Institute’s training opportunities. 

The Equity Fund will help support those who are interested in attending paid training through the Freedom Network Training Institute. FNUSA will make scholarships available to individuals with lived experience or impacted communities.
