Sabra Boyd

Sabra Boyd (she/they) is an award-winning writer, editor, human trafficking prevention consultant, trauma-informed media relations specialist, former hospital admin, and child trafficking survivor with lived experience of homelessness.
Sabra is working on a book about the tech industry and human trafficking, collaborating on a book about ethical assessment methodologies and effective data collection, and she co-authored the Survivor Storytelling Workbook. Sabra serves on the Human Health Services work group addressing forced labor in the healthcare supply chain, and she is also a certified trainer for hospitals systems on how to develop pragmatic trauma-informed protocols to better serve trafficking survivors in healthcare settings. When she isn’t working on evidence-based prevention of exploitation, Sabra sings opera, makes chainmail, distills perfume, and writes screenplays. She also sleeps sometimes.
