Mary Caparas (she/her) is the Project Free Manager at Womankind (formerly New York Asian Women’s Center).
Mary has worked directly with community members who have faced exploitation and abuse, and continues to raise awareness about human trafficking. Mary earned her M.S.W. from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College with a concentration in Community Organizing, Planning and Development.
Her areas of expertise include: Immigrant and worker rights, Culturally reflective and responsive practices, Technical assistance, Collaboration and community mapping
