Today, Freedom Network USA is proud to share its latest white paper entitled, Standards of Care for the US Anti-Trafficking Field. Standards of Care establish basic guidelines to ensure consistent service provision regardless of the geographic area in which services are accessed. Anti-trafficking organizations must be dedicated to providing high-quality, survivor-centered, and trauma-informed services to their clients. Programs face the reality of being ingrained within their own way of service delivery and may not have the opportunity to access ongoing training on current best practices. By adopting national Standards of Care, organizations in the anti-trafficking field can have guidelines to align their programs and ensure that survivors are receiving the best possible care.
FNUSA expertise is grounded in direct service provision. Our members include legal and social service providers, many of which were pioneers of the anti-trafficking movement. We hope this paper will be useful to the field and guide the development of standards that provide the best possible outcomes to survivors of human trafficking.
