KB White
Legal Fellow

KB is the Legal Fellow working with the Survivor Reentry Project.
KB is a third-year law student at the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law. As the Legal Fellow, KB will grow SRP’s network of pro bono firms and service providers nationwide that provide post-conviction advocacy for survivors. Her dedication to re-entry work stems from a firm belief that criminal record relief significantly reduces people’s economic vulnerability and emotional isolation, and it empowers people to pursue their long-term goals.
Prior to this fellowship, KB acted as a SRP consultant and, in their position with The Legal Aid Society, advocated for people facing prostitution-related charges in New York City’s criminal courts. Throughout law school, KB has interned with appellate and federal criminal defense organizations. She also joined the Workers’ Rights Clinic inaugural class, where she prepared wage theft litigation on behalf of restaurant workers and represented clients at unemployment insurance hearings.
