Ciara Dacosta-Reyes is a Freedom Network Training Institute (FNTI) Training Specialist.
The Training Institute develops and delivers high-quality training and technical assistance to human trafficking programs and allied fields. Ciara joined Freedom Network USA with a history direct service provision and non-profit management in the areas of homelessness and housing.
Previously, Ciara was the Intake Coordinator at the Union Mission Women’s Shelter where she was responsible for coordinating and supervising screenings and assessments for clients seeking services, as well overseeing day services in the emergency shelter for single women. While in this role she was trained in trauma-informed care, TOVA and harm reduction. Ciara received a Bachelor’s degree in History and African-American Studies from Mary Baldwin University in May 2016, and is currently finishing a Master’s in Public Administration at Old Dominion University.
